Professional and compassionate provider
This office is runned efficiently, and all staff are helpful.
The wait times once I am in the exam room are terrible. I have several times now been waiting an hour for the provider to come in the room. It's unfair that I must arrive on time but providers can leave patients waiting for as long as they want.
I felt very comfortable and everything was explained thoroughly to me.
I want to say l would highly recommend Dr Upputuri and his staff. I was dealing with a lot going into his office and everyone there took such good care of me and made sure l was taken care of!!
The front desk staff was very helpful when they told me right away that the doctor was running about 30 min late and coming from the hospital. Setting expectations early on is always appreciated. At the same time, having an overnight on call shift at the Oak Lawn hospital and then 8a appts at the Mokena clinic doesn't seem ideal. Dr Upputuri was great as usual but he was definitely rushing.
This was my first visit with dr. I am sure our professional relationship will grow the more visits I have with him.
Waited in the lobby area for almost an hour to be called back
I felt the appointment was rushed. The appointment was supposed to begin at 10:00. I arrived at 9:45 and wasn't called back to an exam room until 10:30. The doctor didn't come into the room for another 15 or so minutes. When he did arrive I felt like he kind of sped through everything. Though, he was informative, our situation is delicate and I didn't feel as though he led this appointment with care and compassion.
Felt comfortable with doctor and staff. First time visit.
