Very slow Waiting almost 1hour and stay 2
I had to come and pay a copay in order to get a refill for pain medication unnecessarily and he said he thought i was a different patient
I did not see this provider. I left after waiting two hours after checkin to be seen. My appointment time was 2pm,check in was about 1:40, I left about 3:40. After over hearing staff; I thought I heard staff talk about doctors leaving etc. I felt like a number not a person. The nurse took my BP asked a bunch of questions, I confirmed I have been dealing with anxiety, she does not address it just keeps asking questions. Why collect data that you don't intend to address? It seems like your checking off boxes to pass on the insurance companies not to help the patients. Staff appears to be "tired of being at work"/bothered by patients they are there to support. It is difficult for a patient to stay compliant with treatment recommendations & keep up with follow up appointments when this is what awaits you after scheduling an appointment. None of the staff behind the counter outside of the exam asked me if I was okay or why I was leaving without being seen. I eventually received a call around 3:52. I have a job & children that I have to care of; I can't take half a day off of work for one doctors appointment to be treated in a manner that is inconsiderate & a bit disrespectful. The only reason I have not changed yet is due to location but after this visit, I am done giving this Advocate location & staff consideration when they have none for me. I wonder if the EVPs, Operations mangers etc would accept this type of "care" for themselves & family when managing their healthcare needs. I doubt it. Advocate needs to do better.
Although he was nice and definitely reviewed my past medical history, he repeatedly asked me the same questions several times. I believe he did not address my health issue. My understanding is that Xanax should not be used for long-term anxiety, And the nurse practitioner who I saw before the doctor confirmed this,but that is what he prescribed.
I was very satisfied with information I received!
My appointment was at 2:15 and I was there at 2:00 but I was not call to see the Doctor until after 5:00.
Only thing I would say about my primary Doctor Baig is that he runs late quite a bite but he is worth the wait.
I had a 3 o'clock appointment and did not get called back to see the doctor until after 5 PM. I was told I had to be there at 2:45. Waiting 2 1/2 hours to see a doctor when I was just hoping to get a referral is absolutely insane! I think it's ridiculous that they think our time is not as valuable as theirs is
