Nothing i had a good experience
First time visit. Overall Very Happy with the visit.
My moms thyroid count was significantly high. She was originally supposed to be seen 3 weeks sooner and labs were supposed to be sooner as well. I feel the labs could have taken place sooner to begin treating thyroid sooner. The original apt was changed. Not sure why we make them ahead when they are changed frequently. I was not contacted even though I am first on the list to be contacted if there is a change.
I had a new patient appointment so did not have a lot of interaction with the doctor.
Very professional
I was pleasantly surprised to see that I wasn't forced to wear a mask anymore when I went to my doctors office, and it was so nice being able to breathe. However, when I went to the lab the PSR shoved a box of masks in my face and was requiring that I wear one as if I caught Covid from walking down the stairs? It was ridiculous and unnecessary.
Dr.Ward was very knowledgeable and kind, listened to my health issues and gave me options could be done. She gave me her opinion on what I should do but however let the final decision but up to me. Was nice to have the final say my health care decisions. I will see her again in one year with hopefully no new health issues.
She is well prepped for the visit, has a list of things she wants to discuss with me, and always asks if I have any questions. Very thorough.
Good experience.
Trying to make a phone call in to Aurora to make an appointment is a very difficult process. There is a long wait time and a lot of transferring around. There is no way to just simply call straight to the office you want to speak to. Also, the nurse tried to call me and I missed her call. When I tried to call her back it was once again a long lengthy wait time to have my phone call even go through. I'm noticing this now every time I need to call Aurora, even for my kids. In my opinion, the phone process is not working for Aurora and should definitely be reconsidered.
