Dr. Lisa Grossman was the true example of a health care professional. I met her for the first time, she listened and explained the issue. She helped me connect with the specialist. Regretfully, most of the Dr.'s at AMG are more interested in ensuring the time limit is met and ignores the patients. Dr. Grossman did not. This is how medicine should be done, not the ridiculous way it is currently being done. We are all humans and we deserve to be treated like a real human being and not a robot. When I worked as a RN in emergency departments, my patients had my ear, attention and time. Now, it is just an assembly line to corporate's idea of healthcare. Please follow Dr. Grossman's example and teach the doctors how to interact with patients and not treat us like we are robots. We have feelings and questions, time should not be an issue and MDs who spend time building relationships instead of lining the pockets of Corporate healthcare executives should not be penalized. One day all of these corporate execs will be sick or their family members will be and you will se how your principles of money first will play out. When you get crappy care and physicians who feel you are a number and not a person, you will learn how bad your policies on healthcare truly are and then you will be mad. Just saying! Bring back the physician who cares as well as technicians and nurses who engage with their patients to show compassion and not treat us like we are on face time in the room.
