The only thing I have to say is that I waited long in the exam room about 45 minutes. Why come 15 minutes before my appointment time if I have to wait that long.

Dr. Macgaffey covers every detail during the appointment and then types up everything so I can take it home. This approach is incredibly helpful.

Dr MacGaffey is prepared to discuss my medical health issues by reviewing my medical records (lab tests and questions I've called in to ask other doctors prior to my appointment with her. She is also very thorough by writing what we discuss and giving a copy to me along with the "end of visit summary". So far I am satisfied with her care. She appears interested in me as a patient seeking good advice on my health concerns.

I needed labs drawn after my MD visit. I was told to take a seat in the waiting room with a pink slip and I would be called to the lab. Actually, I should have "checked in" again. I waited unnecessarily long for my lab draw...likely a communication issue on my part.

This time seemed more confusing than usual. I was unsure why she took my meds. from other places and what to do differently. Also, I am uncomfortable with a medical assistant with long fingernails, metal in her nose, and false eyelashes. Was this Dr. MacGaffey's choice?
