My experience began with registration in the pulmonology testing area. The representative who checked me in was helpful and directed me to the waiting area. The respiratory therapist (I assume) who administered the PFT was knowledgeable, considerate of the testing requirements on me as a patient, and provided me with a summary of the results and answered each question I posed. My next experience was with the check-in representative in the pulmonology office. She knew my insurance information and worked on resolving an issue with the Veteran's Administration while I saw my provider. The LPN who took my annual history and vitals was professional and efficient. Finally, I am satisfied that my provider is proficient in his discipline and has helped me understand my diagnoses over the past three years following the departure of my previous provider who is now providing hospital-based pulmonology services.
