We are very pleased with Dr. Beno.
The provider made me feel like my visit could have been avoided if I had talked on the phone with his staff or if I had sent the photo of my daughter's throat to him. I called the number for Aurora Pediatrics and was transferred to an available nurse, not sure how to talk to this provider's staff directly. And I tried to submit the photo I took of my daughter's on LiveWell but it said if this was a new illness that I needed to schedule an appointment.
I recently took my daughter in for a sick visit due to her prolonged nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. After speaking with the nurses, they recommended that we come in for evaluation, which I appreciated. The visit itself went smoothly, and the medical staff was attentive and caring. I felt reassured that we were already following the appropriate steps for her care. However, upon reflection, I believe my daughter may not have needed to be seen in person, as we were already implementing the doctor's advice effectively at home. While I understand the importance of thorough evaluations, it might be helpful for the clinic to assess whether a visit is truly necessary for certain cases, especially when families are already managing symptoms. Overall, I appreciate the care we received, but I think a more nuanced approach to triaging visits could benefit families in similar situations.
Dr Beno and his staff are all amazing
Dr Beno has been my sons Dr since the day he was born. He is a great Dr and I believe he cares about his patience and does the best to give a get them what they need. We love Dr Beno
always a great experience. Dr. Beno takes the time you need with your visit, and allows you to ask additional questions. i never feel rushed. he listens and explains things in a way you understand.
I appreciate the provider not being pushy with things I don't want for my child. That means a lot to a lot of parents.
Dr. Beno is a great doctor. He's both of my kids pediatrician and I'm very satisfied.
We called to inform them that we would be late due to the snow storm. The answering service said that they would send a message to the provider. Once we arrived, 20 minutes later than scheduled appointment, the receptionist automatically said that we would need to reschedule. Thankfully the nurse happened to be walking by and said we could come back they knew we were going to be late. Our suggestion is that if the nurse knew then maybe the reception should be told as well. Had the nurse not walked by when she did, the receptionist would have made us reschedule and sent us back home in the snowstorm without seeing the doctor. We understand the policy about rescheduling if you show up late but we not only called but no one else was there waiting as we are sure most people cancelled due to the storm.
Dr. Beno knew exactly what was wrong with my child just by looking at him as soon as he walked in the room
