It took a while to get an appt w this dr due to her schedule. But once I had the appt, I was very comfortable that I had made the right choice. This Dr didn't know my history bc my records are w IL doctors since I lived there previously and for some reason, the systems don't communicate. Dr Ruffin is awesome for my first visit. She was thorough, had a very nice bedside manner. She was professional but comfortable. I really appreciate the knowledge she gave me and I think it will help my situation. I'm glad I found her and even more glad she understands and has empathy.
Dr Ruffin handled a very tough and sad situation incredibly well. Im grateful for the care and consideration of our questions and feelings
This was my first time meeting Dr. Ruffin and I was very happy with the service she provided. She was very easy to talk to and understood my concerns. I was also very impressed with the facility where her office is located.
I love when we're one on one and she remembers everything from the last appointment and doesn't treat me like a stranger.
The physician is very knowledgeable and caring. Excellent. Grateful for her understanding of my medical history. Two suggestions: the little clip on badge the front desk team provided was superfluous as it had no purpose. If there was, it was not explained. The plastic card with my name written on it in sharpie which I was handed to put on the desk in the exam room is a troubling practice. Talk about being just a name and number (and poorly scribbled at that). Not to mention the infection transmission potential by being handed that card. What is it being wiped down with? The card I received was smudged with prior sharpie. Covid and 'flu season is here. This is a concerning practice for transmission of germs, viruses and bacteria to your patients. Consider also that your patients may not want their names shared as there is no way for patients to see what happens to those cards after their appointment. Also, I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time and no effort was made by front desk to update on when I would be seen ( I had to walk up to inquire). I was prompt for my appointment but my time is not valued. Unfortunate.
She's Great! I like the detailed information for my questions and taking the time for me
I gave an eight because the treatment is not complete yet. I have a procedure in a couple of weeks. I liked the way Dr. Ruffin explained my diagnosis She showed me charts and diagrams indicating what kind of problem occur in the uterus. . She did ask if I had any questions. I have sent messages with questions and her staff has responded. I also like that Dr. Ruffin asked about my availability for the procedure and sent relevant information with the appointment date.
Ladies in reception/front desk are unprofessional. They don't know what they are doing when it comes to scheduling.
Dr. Ruffin takes the time to address all my questions and concerns, I'm happy to have her as my doctor. The medical assistant and reception personnel are also pleasant and helpful.
Very appreciate for her showing compassion and understanding regarding my concerns. She squeezed me into her already tight schedule and I am very thankful for her providing excellent care.
