I was very pleased with the care provider.
I appreciate Dr. Zizzo and her knowledge.
Had an appointment with 24 hours. Provider prescribed rx and had me schedule a follow up in 2 weeks.
Very good experience ?
Dr Zizzo is excellent!
No greeting, no communication about anything going on in appointment. Didn't file nails. Left one nail extremely long.
For the most part, I was very satisfied. I did leave feeling somewhat uninformed as far as what a heel spur usually is, as well as what to do about/for it. As far as my other foot pain and/or swelling goes, an MRI was ordered and I'll hopefully know more after that.
It was a follow up visit so nothing to add.
Since I have to wait for lab results before proceeding further cannot finish an assessment on care.
I was told by the podiatry's office that since my xray had shown a fracture in my toe, that it was imperative that I be seen within 3 days. There were no openings in Fond du Lac, which is where I live, for several weeks out, so I was told I must be seen in Oshkosh before then. I went to Oshkosh, since they made it seem urgent & saw Dr. Zizzo. She never even touched my bad toe, but told me that after reviewing my xrays, there was nothing she needed or could do, since the fracture was healing on its own. I asked her if it was imperative that I be seen immediately, like I had been told to do & she told me no. She said that she was the Dr & the only one who could have read my xray properly. She proceeded to give me a few small sleeves to wrap my toe in, if needed & sent me on my way. She made me feel as though I was wasting her time, considering there was nothing more that could be done. Again, that's just my take on the visit. I told her I was very frustrated that I was made to feel that it was urgent to come in ASAP & have to spend money on a hospital visit I really didn't need. She said she understood why I was upset & to keep in touch if anything got worse.
