It took far too long to actually see the Doctor. Staff and one of the Fellows told us he would be in shortly instead of being honest and telling us he had an emergency situation in the adjoining hospital and they had no real idea how long we would be waiting. I was just there for a consult, so certainly would have understood. As it was, my husband left the exam room because he was very upset at the wait time (overall 2 hours). When Dr Ruggeri finally arrived, he took all the time I needed to get my questions answered and agree on a plan. I knew he had other patients to get to and I tried to be respectful of his time. I need to go back every three months after CT scans, I sincerely hope I will have a better experience next time.

For all the online scheduling and text reminders, it would be nice if you could text me if you are running late so I don't have to sit there waiting.

Dr. Ruggeri is an excellent oncologist.

It would've been a good experience, but it took them an hour to realize that nobody had seen me yet. If it wasn't because I said something to the front desk, i would still be waiting. The front desk should've said something to a RN or MA regarding my appointment, but nobody bothered to ask.
