Dr. Benson was curt and reassuring at all. He began our discussion about a cochlear implant by telling us that I could lose my hearing with this surgery. Throughout the appt., he didn't want to answer some key clinical or financial questions. There are two providers of implant equipment. He didn't really explain the eqpt. thoroughly and then told my wife and I to go home and discuss which company we like to use choose. We were given no brochures and had too little information to make an informed decision. He didn't and wouldn't discuss any financial questions we had. If he were not a competent surgeon, I would go to Mayo Clinic for my surgery. If I were a teacher, my grade for the visit would be D-!

The doctor physically ran into the room like its a track meet. Started rambling items iff and not fully understanding my situation and what i need help with medically. All they stated was i can not help you witht his matter. Then you could have game me a 2 minute phone call to let me know and not waste my time to see this doctor for 3 weeks.... Definitely would nit recommend this doctor and for whatever reason my situation was not meing met properly. Basically stated leave we cant help you! Poor quality care thats for sure.
