I had to wait a long time to get bloodwork done. It would've been nice to be given updates on how long the wait was going to be.
Zachary LaMaster was attentive, friendly and spent a lot of time with me. It was a very positive experience. I recently changed from a larger practice where I felt i wasn't listened to and was merely a number. This practice is a pleasant experience from checking in to seeing the doc.
Overall the care from provider is below average compared to how thorough and prepared for the appointment other providers are at Northwestern and Rush. A lot is missed, notes are not updated and things are forgotten about at the end of the appointment.
The nurse who took care of my impacted ear wax really looked out for me, making sure I would not get wet but was persistent and took care of the problem when I thought I would need to go to an ENT specialist. She had a lot of experience with that procedure and that gave me confidence that it would be taken care of. I was very relieved to have it done at my appointment.
Dr LaMaster is AWESOME!!! Will never let him go!!!
