It took months for staff to get my son in for this appointment. By the date he was seen, it had spread to more areas. Same when I try to schedule my other child. Whether I call in for an appointment or on the app, there is always weeks to months to get seen. And then I get "the go see urgent care" that U.C. is a waste of time, and then my kids can get seen faster after an urgent care follow-up. Smh it makes no sense to me. The time to see the doctor was on time but not to schedule a date that part is way too long. I know that there is an option to see a different staff, but again same thing nothing is done by a different staff member just like urgent care staff. Always end up back with their pcp Wendy Lotts because is the best and is on top of their health issues.
The nurse who took my sons measurements was very kind and attentive. When the doctor came in, she was more interested in what was on her computer than my son. She did not offer much of any information unless I promted conversation by continuing to ask questions. Between each of my questions and her responses, she would just lean her head back on the wall and stay silent. I have not received any verbal information on any of my visits of what to be looking out for and or assisting my son with learning and developing each milestone. I was told at the end of my visit, by the nurse that he's behind on his motor skills and was handed back the survey I had filled out. No information was given to me on how to achieve these or any information as to what he should be doing from now until his next well visit in 3 months.
I'm always very happy with the professionalism they show and Dr. Lotts is very knowledgeable and I'm always very pleased when we get to see her because I've known her since my son was born. She was the physician who visited us in the hospital. It was a great experience.
