My wife went in for a scheduled echo cardiogram. When she arrived, she was told "I'm sorry but your appointment was entered for next year. My wife asked if she could still get in. She was told no, would you like to reschedule? The mistake was on them. I thought their response was unacceptable.
Dr Bhushan is excellent. He cares about his patients. Until recently, he always kept an opening to see patients if they were ill, that day or the next. This time I was told his "next available" was a week away. I much, much prefer that an Internist, or Primary Care Doctor be allowed to schedule so if his patients are ill they can come in that day. I am concerned that the syndicate of Aurora Advocate is pressuring doctors to maximize their schedules and not leave openings for the ill.
