Annual physicals can be handled differently. You see your provider and they schedule a lab visit. After the results from the lab tests, you may get called back. It would make more sense to schedule the lab visit, then schedule the annual physical after the results of the lab visit are in. A proper annual physical would be beneficial if the lab results were available to the provider prior to the visit.

The urologist's office was extremely professional, and both the doctors and nurses were thoughtful and accommodating. However, my experience with the imaging department was disappointing. I was sent for an x-ray and waited over 45 minutes without receiving any attention. It wasn't until the nurse from the urologist's office called the front desk receptionist that they realized I had not been seen. To my dismay, I learned that the x-ray technician had gone to surgery without notifying anyone. This situation was concerning for several reasons. First, my x-ray was scheduled, so it should have been noted that someone needed to be available or there should have been communication with the urology office if the technician was unavailable. Second, the receptionists were so absorbed in their own conversations that they didn't notice I was waiting. My patience should not have led to being overlooked. After finally being sent back to the urologist, I was told I would need to return for the x-ray after the appointment, which was counterproductive, as the doctor needed the image for the consultation. While my doctor was understanding and apologetic, it was unfair to place him in that position. Upon returning to the imaging department, no one was present to assist me, so I had to go to another department for help. Thankfully, the x-ray technician and front desk staff there were very kind and accommodating. The key issue here is that just because some patients don't express frustration doesn't mean they should be ignored or treated with less urgency. As a new patient in the state and with this provider, I was disappointed by the overall performance of the imaging department. While I provided positive feedback for the urology office, I am not satisfied with my experience in the imaging department.
Staff and provider are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, answer all questions and clearly explain what one needs to know regarding medical situation.
I was disappointed that there were no Dr notes available to me after appointment. I thought that was something that was required.
