I did not have a PCP at the time I scheduled this appointment and I had a specific medical concern to discuss. This was my first time seeing Dr. Shah - he happened to be referred to me by the scheduling person because I couldn't get in to the doctors I preferred to see quickly enough. He could tell I was nervous and asked if I was okay. This really made a difference to me because I was scared for many different reasons. He was able to talk me through the logical side of the situation but still be caring. I am very happy with the visit and will definitely refer him to others.

Dr. Shah seems to be working to a definite schedule -- minutes per patient allowed. He can answer specific questions I have, and did that well. However, someone is looking over his shoulder at "production" -- patients per hour. If that is the primary measure used by Aurora management, that management better prepare for a long term disaster.
There were bugs crawling on the carpet in the exam room. I pointed it out to Dr. Shah and he was going to close down that room until the issue could be addressed. Dr. Shah was very kind and very attentive when I was explaining my issues. He talked with me on a level where I could understand but did not talk down to me. I am very glad Dr. Shah is my PCP!
