I had a 12:10 appointment and was finally seen at 1:15. I walked out thinking the visit was a colossal waste of time. The X-Ray showed arthritis and it was suggested I consider PT and cortisone shots. Advil and Voltaren were also suggested. I indicated I would complete exercises on my own to improve mobility. My appointment ended with "if it still bothers you after 4-6 weeks, call to make another appointment and "maybe" we can order an MRI". So I'm left with the question, is it arthritis or something else that an MRI would uncover? I don't know anything new that I didn't know before the appointment and am no closer to relief from the pain and numbness. I'll do the exercises I requested from Athletico for 4-6 weeks and see where that leaves me.
Dr. Kohli is not only a great surgeon, he is a great guy!
