I was considered a new patient when I had known this doctor for years. I no longer needed C-Pap equipment and no longer had sleep apnea as of 2018 and therefore, was needing to go through a new patient zoom call. I did not think I was a new patient. He had all of my records to determine the current results and already knew me. Thank you for listening to my venting.
This experience was very disheartening. I've seen this provider one time before and he was great. However, this time was terrible. The first thing the provider said to me was "why are you here?" It was done in a condescending tone. I felt like when I tried to explain the provider did not listen and just continued to voice his frustrations. It was not a good experience. It was embarrassing and made me feel very small and stupid. Honestly, I wish I would have just walked out, but I feel like I froze because I couldn't believe how I was being spoken to. It's ironic that you have signs around the facility talking about treating healthcare staff appropriately, but doctors are allowed to treat patients poorly.
My appt was for a yearly CPAP check. I would not expect him to ask about my diet and exercise.

Dr. Flatley was clear in his evaluation of test results and gave his opinion of future care as well as would welcome back if needed him in the future.
I was seen in an efficient amount of time and the provider gave me all of the information I was looking for. Both the provider and the medical assistant were extremely professional. It was a good experience.
