I travel a long distance (50 miles) just to see Dr. Wilkins. He not only listens but he cares about my health. He takes the time to explain my medical condition and what steps I need to take to improve on my overall health.

Great experience from provider

Dr. Wilkins was covering for my regular doctor who was out on medical leave. He was very prompt and thorough in seeing me and basically confirmed what I thought might be going on. But he didn't just stop there, he helped me understand how to work on improving things and carefully explained why he was/wasn't prescribing different medications available. And when I expressed frustration at the difficulty I was having getting a prescription refill, he was apologetic and explained what had likely happened. He also gave me permission to call his office if there were any other prescription-related problems. His bedside manner was terrific, he took time to listen, and he made sure I fully understood the plan and what to do if I wasn't feeling better. Kudos to Dr. Wilkins!
