Great Patient care as always. The doctor and the staff are the best.
At the end of the appointment a woman scheduled an appointment for me without asking my availability so of course it didn't work. She then left and made me another appointment which didn't work either. She then left again and came back with another appointment made for me, again not asking my preferences or letting me choose. At no point did she let me make an appointment how I always have at every other office I've been in, where you are given options for dates and times and pick what works for you. It was very strange, not patient-friendly at all.

After my doctor appointment, I was scheduled to get a Lupron shot. I was told to go to the back area where Cancer Patients receive treatments. I proceeded to that area and handed them some paper work from the doctor. I was then told that someone would be with me in 5 minutes. I was sitting in an area for Cancer Patients receiving treatment. I waited over 30 minutes without anyone saying anything else to me. I felt very uncomfortable and felt I should have been put in a wait area by myself. I then left area telling them I was leaving. I proceeded down hall to the doctor's staff and told them I left area and was uncomfortable. I got my appointment for 3 months, and told staff to let doctor know I did not receive my Lipton shot.
Better communication between radiation and oncology.. In retrospect more emphasis on nutrition while getting treatment!.. I NEEDED help with meals..and just saw nutrition person as I was leaving..quick visit in hallway
There was some confusion on my part regarding the appointment. I was under the impression that I would also be seeing the radiation oncologist as well as the medical oncologist. I was informed that the radiation oncologist would be contacting me in the future to set up a consultation.
