Normally my visits are very positive; however this visit not so much. I had to take a breathing test and told them in advance that I had a mild cold and was somewhat stuffed up. As a result, I struggled with the large breathing test tube that was placed in my mouth. Additionally, I had written down some notes in advance that accurately outlined some of my recent issues. I offered the notes, but she said she would just take down what I was saying as opposed to what I had on paper. While most of the RN's notes are accurate, some notes are not (for example, I was not winded walking into the building) and as a result these are now permanent notes attached to my file. I arrived 20 minutes early but the notes left about the visit barely talk about any results but focus more about arriving on time. Maybe that is standard verbiage the clinic uses, but the connotation suggests I was late. Additionally, there were 4 chest xrays that were completed and the indication was that I would be contacted with results by the end of the day, yet here we are 4 days later and I don't have any results. At this point, my cold is winding down but I am still experiencing some stuffiness, so I cancelled the PFT until I have my results, and my fitness is better so an accurate test can be conducted. I am still experiencing occasional discomfort, and we never really discussed next steps although I did understand I can contact my primary physician with any concerns. My prior visits and experiences had been very positive, but this particular visit and the follow up is not up to those previous standards.
