I was the first appointment of the day and I had to wait. The reception desk staff voluntarily told me to talk to her supervisor because this is a habitual problem. It's pretty sad when they say that to you.

My provider did an excellent job. She had a busy schedule but was able to fit me in. She was honest and forthright regarding my health which I appreciate. As a healthcare professional myself I understand how chaotic the day can get, but she still took extra time to explain my condition and the next steps. I think the only improvement that could be made is more of a system wide thing than a provider specific one. It seems like there can be miscommunication between providers at times via the patient portal. It could also just be caused by myself because I see a few providers in different healthcare systems (i.e. Northwestern Medicine and one independent provider). I appreciate the care I was provided and definitely would recommend everyone I have seen through Advocate so far. Keep up the good work
