I called in because my prescription for my anxiety was running out. I was told to make an appointment and meet with a new doctor because mine retired. So I did that, and they said that they'd send my refill request to the doctor. This was on a Monday. I heard absolutely NOTHING from the care providers all week long. I finally ran out of my prescription and called in on Saturday. The person I spoke with read me the notes about my refill request. And that my retiring doctors nurse approved the refill and sent it to my new doctor. And the notes indicated that no action was taken. Basically they dropped the ball and ignored it. This is unacceptable when someone with a history of anxiety and panic attacks doesn't have access to my medication. I called back on Monday and then and only then the nurse or whoever said they needed to see me before a refill. Which tells me they just were trying to cover their own self. To me this was just a really bad experience. For how much people have to pay to visit their health care provider we should get care and communication from them.
