I left feeling like there was nothing I could do to improve my health. The options given to me were to have a unrecommended major surgery or to simply continue to suffer with my condition. Surely there must be something I can do so I can be in less pain, but it seems like I will have to figure out on my own what that might be. I left the appointment in tears and disheartened about the future.
