Dr. Chan was not my PCP. Appointment was almost 3 weeks after my ER visit. My main issue was something else. He took care of this wonderfully!!!! Nice man!
Always good to talk to Dr. Chan about health in general.
Overall my experience with Advocate has been somewhat stressful. Not so much with primary care. I'm currently leaving this group & headed to Northwestern Medical for my continued medical help.
The professionalism and attention to my personal needs are always met.

I am a new patient and am very happy I was seen by Dr Chan.
Dr. Chan asked me to "fill out the FMLA section that the doctor is suppose to fill out" and if he "agrees with it, he will sign off on it. I asked that we sit down so he could ask me medical questions and the answers would reveal themselves. This was his literal response: "Nowadays, you have to help the doctor". I have other patients but if youd like to stay and fill out the form I will come back. I filled it out, he looked at it, says ok, told me to pick up the official form later after he writes his version and signs it. I am in awe. There are no words for Dr. Chan's lack of professionalism. Absolutely none.
Horrible he doesn't speak good English and my son asked questions and he couldn't answer them he said I don't know. I came in so my son can get his annual physical exam no exam happened at all.
