Dr Onwuta gave me a new life. When I first came to him over a year ago he refilled my existing meds and said that at my next visit he might change my meds. He did make a change at my 2nd visit & it's brought a great improvement to my quality of life ever since. He did not increase the daily amount of opiods, he changed the medication. Because of that change I can do things that I couldn't do because of pain, and I don't suffer like I used to. Dr Onwuta always listens. He ordered some imaging tests for me so we could better determine the source of some specific pain I have. He was the only one of my doctors who noticed an incomplete sentence on a previous radiology report. Dr Onwuta is more on the ball than any other doctor I have and he actually cares what happens with me. It's been my impression that Dr Onwuta does whats right for his patients instead of treat his patients according to what politicians say his patients should have for pain medicine. I take 90mg daily and I consider myself lucky that it hasn't been reduced because of the pressure being exerted on pain mngmnt specialists.
