Best pediatrician
We love, love, love Dr. Don. Blessed to have him in our lives. Our daughters look forward to seeing him.
Seen quickly, thorough appointment. Took time to answer questions, and was proactive in giving advice to avoid sports injuries
Dr. Steward always takes his time to talk with us and talks to our son.
My experience trying to obtain an appointment a month or so prior, was not good. When I called the # to set an appointment, I was waiting on hold for a very long time (15+ minutes). When I got an actual person to speak with, there was a lot of television noise in the background. I wasn't even sure I was talking to a legitimate person that worked for Aurora. It is very difficult to call the office because you can't actually speak to someone quickly. I like the way it used to be with the receptionists in each department fielding calls for their patients.
Dr. Don is the best of the best! He knows his patients and gives top notch care, every time!
The only thing I can complain about is your call center. It's absolutely ridiculous. Nobody should have to sit on hold for close to a half hour just to be transferred out of state to talk to somebody that knows nothing about my child or even in the departure I'm trying to reach to then send me to a nurse triage when all I wanted to do was talk to my doctors nurse or make a same day appt with my dr. That's the whole reason I have a pediatrician for my child. They know her history I shouldn't have to re-tell my whole history to some random person in Illinois. I do not have to deal with any of this through Froedtert for myself or my husband and if I didn't love Dr. Don Steward so much I would've yanked my kids out of Aurora along time ago and moved them to Froedert. When I call Froedtert, I have two prompts and I talk to a live person to make an appointment and I'm done. I don't need to be transferred to all these different people and repeat my story eight times about why I would like to have an appointment. Your system is not working and you guys are doing nothing about it . Listen to your patients they hate your call center. There's a lot of parents that have been stressing their concerns on Facebook regarding your call center and not getting the help they need from the appropriate people because they're in an endless loop when trying to call in. I know for a fact this isn't the first time you're hearing this complaint. Providers, receptionist, and patients have stressed this to you for years. Aurora when will you start to listen and fix what's broken? Do it before you keep losing people over a darn call center.

Dr. Don is the BEST pediatrician. There is never a page that is left unturned. He makes sure to get on my sons level and makes him comfortable and happy to come visit. He talks in a way that parents and kiddos can understand. He is a true advocate for his patients and families and is 150% irreplaceable. My son is excited to see Dr. Don, never nervous even when not feeling well. He deserves the pediatrician of the year award!
Love Dr. Steward! Always a pleasure to see him. Did not like that we still need to wear masks. Even if it coud be lifted for the kids. Lets move beyond this please.
