I was very dissatisfied that I came to this appointment. I was initially seen in an urgent care who informed me there was no breaks in my hand and everything should be ok within 6-8 weeks and if not to follow up with hand care specialists. I received a call from hand care specialists saying that I needed to schedule an appointment. I informed them of the recommendation the PA had given me at urgent care with the scheduler telling me that it seemed as if this was urgent, so I scheduled the appointment. When I spoke with the provider he explained to me exactly what the PA stated. I was still having pain in a particular part of my hand with the provider not directly answering my question. He directed me to ice, wear a brace and elevate which is what I was advised previously. This was a waste of an appointment because I did not need it but was pushed into it. I was not satisfied. The doctor and staff there were very personable and nice.
I had a couple questions after I got home but didn't think of it until then.
For seeing him the first time, I was impressed with his timely manner, also with all the information he gave me. I was very satisfied.
The Dr did not seem to know the reason for my visit or my medical history, He acted like I should not have come to see him regarding my pain. I will not come back to this Dr. and am considering leaving Aurora completely.
All good.
He was knowledgeable, direct and put me at ease regarding my issue. I'd highly recommend him to others
Took the time to check arthritis damage to hand and fingers. Really seemed to care about the pain I had. With my Insurance I can go anywhere (UW, Froedert, etc) but I choose Dr Wiske at Aurora.
Dr Wiske, A+ for knowledge and expertise.
this is my first time seeing this Doctor so we have no history, but was very instructive on what was happening to me and how to handle it.
Great visit, he was able to give we me a diagnosis and plan with in minutes.
