Dr Carissa Buenvenida is the best Doctor I ever had in a while. She is very thorough in her examination and she cares very much for her patients.

I feel as if I'm in good hands when I'm in her care and that she truly cares about my health.

Didn't appreciate that the medical assistant had a runny nose, didn't wear a mask and kept wiping her nose with a Kleenex but never washed her hands before touching me

Professional, wonderful bedside manner and genuine interest in my health care and life.

Dr. Did not listen to me or my complaint about one Med. being used to treat two conditions. According to Mayo Clinic "Alpha-beta blockers. Alpha-beta blockers block nerve signals to blood vessels and slow the heartbeat. Alpha-beta blockers block nerve signals to blood vessels and slow the heartbeat. They reduce the amount of blood that must be pumped through the vessels. Alpha-beta blockers include carvedilol (Coreg) and labetalol (Trandate).(Coreg) and labetalol (Trandate)." All this sounds good but Carvedilol treats two condition's my high heart rate and high blood pressure. I am more worried about my heart rate than any thing else. The dose for the carvedilol has been reduced to 3.125mg from 25mg. I hope it is enough to bring my heart rate down to a more manageable level (was 102 when I was in the Dr. office.) I guess we will see, I am preparing a chart.
