I wanted a recommendation for a nutritionist to help me with a heart healthy diet plan. The doctor said they were not comfortable sending patients to a nutritionist. I believe that a heart patient should be given a trusted reference to a nutritionist as a basic tool to fight heart disease. I am willing to pay for such a service as insurance usually doesn't cover this. I was disappointed with this response.
It is hard for me to get to 5th floor Parkside due to ortho problems. The vallet service and patient helpers were wonderful to me. They deserve much praise. Thanks for such great help.
