I was a new patient and meeting the provider for the first time. I felt rushed and that my provider was not interested in me and my needs. She quickly told me that she had 2 medications that she could prescribe for me, but would only recommend one because the other was too difficult to regulate. I asked her how the new medication would react with my current meds and she said that they wouldn't. I asked how she knew that and she said her phone told her. She didn't recommend any ways to alleviate my pain. Then she said that I should schedule a follow up appointment and left the room. I waited for a minute and then opened the door and asked the nurse if I could ask the doctor another question. The nurse talked to the doctor, then the doctor came into the room with a small package, and without any explanation she turned to walk out. I asked if I could have another for my other foot. I don't think the doctor spent even 5 minutes with me.
