Office wait time was horrible
Well, first of all this is the second time I have gone to the office and I sat in the waiting room for one hour from my appointment time and I said in the back room for another half hour before a nurse came in and then I waited another 15 minutes or so before the doctor came in altogether. I got it that Office at 10:30. My appointment is at 10:40. Didn't leave the office till 12:35 and this was just for a wellness check, but the appointment prior to this which was last year the same thing happened she was backed up and I sat there for over an hour before taking to the back same thing sat in the office room for a while before she came in. I don't know what's going on with that Office if they're over booking patients or what but I don't think I should have to be at an office that long. I really hate to say that because I do love Dr. Goel I've been going to her for a long time, but I also can't see having to sit there all that time either for such a short appointment. I hope that this next time I go in, I don't have to go through this again. Otherwise I may have to seek another physician cause I'm not gonna sit there all that time because they're over booking patients. I also had checked in at Advocate and given all my information and filled out the forms, but the office was telling me that I didn't cause they couldn't find anything, but I had entered my new insurance card. I had taken pictures of it I answered the question on the questionnaire form that they gave me and also the assistant that came in to take my blood pressure. My arm wasn't even straight when she took my blood pressure, she never once told me anything about it. I was waiting to see if she was going to because I know my arm should've been straight and it wasn't. It was slightly bent because I had my phone in my hand and she proceeded to take my blood pressure without telling me a thing.
Great physician, she is always on top of everything when it comes to my health and wellbeing.
I dont't like the new phone answering service. Was returning a missed call and it took more than 10 minutes for it to be answered. Then had to wait while she went back and forth with my doctor's nurse to be told I would have to be transferred to her office! Terrible waste of time.
I have been a patient of Dr. Goel's since I was 19, which is almost 30 years. She has helped me with several medical conditions and has suggested other doctors if I was in need of a specialist. I have NEVER not been taken care of to the best of her abilities. Dr. Goel is kind, understanding, funny, and can be tough for your own good. I drive almost an hour to see her. She is the best doctor I have ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
