Aurora staff is always friendly. The doctor knows my history and was very informative about my health concerns and my upcoming surgery.

She is very understanding, caring Doctor. Very knowledgeable in my needs, what I can do and what I can't do. A lot of Doctors should take notes from her, she talks to you as a person not as an object.

The woman at reception a right when you walked in was not very friendly and rude to associate who was working by her greeting people.

Very knowledgeable, great bedside manner and makes the care feel personal and not like they are just running you through an assembly line. When I visit, I feel like I'm TALKING with my doctor, but just being examined and being talked AT before they dart out the door to the next person in line. That personal connection is very important to instill confidence in someone caring about your health. It puts the CARE in healthcare. To me, that quality is like gold when it comes to finding a doctor.

Dr. Schimke shared information on my past bone density test and interpreted the info for me, informed when I should get the next one, and her LPN instructed me to take my 2nd shingles vaccine. It was an excellent experience with clear direction and even comments on what to expect at next year's physical.

I think Dr. Schimke is awesome. I've had her for many years as a primary and I would rather not be seen by anyone other than her unless it is absolutely necessary.
