I have very bad dental health, which Dr Kelly noticed when looking at my throat. She didn't make me feel ashamed but took the time to ask why, to talk about my fears and she explained how my dental health is detrimental to my overall health. I can't explain how I dread anyone, even my doctor, looking in my mouth due to my bad and broken teeth. To have her not shame me or act disgusted by my broken teeth, but to sympathize and try to understand my phobia and reasons, was wonderful.
