The Dr. and I conversed at length about my situation. He outlined possible procedures going forward. I gathered he was undecided at that point which one we were going to follow. The Dr. left the room and the nurse entered to do an EKG. After a brief pause, another Nurse entered and scheduled my heart shock treatment. No explanation was offered. One would think the EKG would have been done first, then an option discussion with the Dr. Very odd sequence of events. Discomforting.

Normal doctor visit.
The doctor's office called early enough to let me know that the doctor was running a bit late and my appointment would be an hour later. That was very much appreciated. The new appointment time went well. I was very impressed with Dr. Khan. He took his time with me and went through everything that was coming in the future in regards to future testing and a surgical procedure. He was pleasant and made me feel at ease. I would definitely direct others to him if they needed a cardiologist.
This doctor was extremely pleasant and showed real sympathy for my heath condition. The FIRST doctor, since my diagnosis with stage 4 breast cancer in 2022, to say that he was sorry for my illness!
He had an emergency surgery so that's why he was late. I had the option of seeing a PA instead of waiting, but I decided to wait.
Dr. Khan was extremely nice and very caring and interested in knowing as much as he could about me and my health concerns. Unfortunately in the 15 minutes alloted for my initial visit there was NO WHERE NEAR ENOUGH TIME for us to cover my concerns. This was in no way Dr. Khan's problem!!! It is the problem of the policies of the hospital which are very concerning!!! I will continue to see Dr. Khan as I know he cares about my well being . But he will continue to give me what he can in the time allotted to me which is limiting. I have NO fault with Dr Khan!!
