All went well.

Dr. was very approachable and had a good bedside manner.

It was a good yearly wellness visit with Dr. Teehan.

I was supposed to get a call to schedule a test. No call. I'll have to try to call them next week.

I checked in 15 minutes early as advised. Once called in to the exam room - slightly after my scheduled time - I then waited 35 minutes in the exam room with the door closed and no one advising of the delay. No one came in to check on me or advise of the delay. Thinking I was forgotten I went out to ask about the lengthy delay. The nurse who checked me in jumped up and told me to get back in the exam room. I explained the delay and she advised there was an emergency and they'll get to me when they get to me. I advised I'd wait 5 more minutes and would then have to leave. I asked for the door to be left open and was advised they can't do that due to patient confidentialty. I felt pushed back in (but not touched physically) and the door was soundly closed. When Dr. Teehan came in she apologized and said her patient before me took twice as long as scheduled. I don't believe Aurora honored my time - and I should have at least been checked in on with a status update well before I finally went out after sitting there 35 minutes.

I really enjoy and trust Dr Teehan. It is very hard to schedule an appointment with her. I have a friend that also has this doctor and she has a hard time getting an appointment. She plans on leaving Aurora and going to Holy Family because they have several female internal doctors.
