He reviewed my chart before my visit and was interested in my care. Other providers, it's like starting over every visit; they seem not to listen, and it's beyond frustrating. Typically, I do not feel heard or supported by providers and lack trust in their care; however, that is not the case here. We had a great discussion about things and plans moving forward. I am pleased with my care and happy to have left feeling heard.
Dr Schmeling took his time and covered all the bases , he listened and answered all my questions. I felt like he used the old fashioned family doctor approach and gave me several options as to my next step, listening and seemed very caring, I would definately reccomend him to friends and family. Dr. Has bent over backwards to find the treatment that works the best for me. I saw him in the hospital too. He is so thorough and top notch! Please let him know that. You are very very lucky to have him at Aurora! I hope he can continue treating me as we go along my path to recovery !!!!
Dr. Schmeling always explains everything in detail and very easy to understand. He also gave me other options/meds that I can try in the future if needed. He is great at this!

Polite, gave lots of information
I appreciate that the doctor takes time to listen to me about my health concerns. At the previous location where I was being treated, they were rude, dismissive, and belittled me. Here, my concerns are taken seriously. I don't mind waiting for the doctor because he takes time with his patients and doesn't rush.
He was patient and explained details very carefully. He didn't rush my appointment and listened to all my concerns. He was very knowledgeable.
