Spent a lot of time explaining and answering all my questions...
Dr. Thorsen is top notch. Not only does he listen he explains everything so you can understand. He will squeeze you in even if that means he will not take a lunch. He is kind and friendly. Definitely a 10 as a pain specialist
Dr. Thorsen is extremely knowledgeable and down to earth in his approach to patients. He is concerned with you as a patient and your understanding of what is going on in your body and/or what your medical interventions will entail. He looks at you- when speaking with you and he knew what my medical record holds- tests results etc that he reviewed prior to my visit.
Very positive experience. Dr. Thorsen was very familiar with my health history. He paid close attention to my questions and answered with spine model and patient-level verbal explanations. Laid out clear plan for procedure to come. A true professional.
Excellent first visit with Dr Thorsen and his team.
Very understanding and respectful of my thoughts and wishes. Very educated on my health history. Explained things well. Very knowledgeable
So glad to have such an amazing doctor!!!
Helpful and informed on my health issues
Dr. Thorsen is always on time. I never feel rushed. He listens and answers my questions and doesn't make me feel bad for not knowing or understanding something. I wish I could clone him and have him as my pcp.
Initially, I was instructed to arrive 15 minutes early. I received an automated phone call telling me to arrive 30 minutes early. I assumed the change in arrival time was important so I did arrive 30 minutes early. Literally sat for 30 minutes before being called in to the examination room. The number of contacts (phone calls and texts and check-in for your appointment) prior to an appointment is beyond annoying and it's hard, at times, not to bring an attitude into an appointment. There really needs to be a compromise -- a happy medium. Good thing most of your physicians are worth the pre-appointment steps.
