Dr Petrikova listens and offers options for care and let's me know the benefits and drawbacks of each option. I truly appreciate her as a physician.

I really appreciated the MA's (I am so sorry, I didn't catch her name!) empathy during my bloodwork. I hate having bloodwork done and I wasn't prepared (in that I wasn't thinking about it that morning and didn't drink extra water). She was very kind and didn't make me feel bad about it. I was also comfortable enough to tell her about a past blood draw in the same spot that got a massive hematoma that didn't go away for months - I asked her if there was anything I could do to try to prevent it this time around, and she gave me a pressure bandage, which helped a lot. I barely have a bruise! She was also really gentle. Both the blood draw and flu shot were as painless as they possibly could be.
My appointment was efficient, I was treated very politely and professionally by everyone I interacted with and all topics were explained to me clearly. I appreciated having reminders for preventative care screenings and timelines that I can anticipate in the future. I am always very pleased with my care from Dr Petrikova and her staff members.
I was glad to see the pre-visit questionnaire asking about outside impacts on health and wellbeing. I myself am a very privileged and happy person but am acutely aware of underprivileged, oppressed groups who suffer health challenges because of disparity. This information is so important to know and consider and I'm happy to see it's being gathered.
