Great experience for a Doctor visit.
You requested that I get there 15 minutes before the appointment, yet the appointment started about a half an hour AFTER the scheduled appointment time. After the appointment the doctor said to go to the reception desk and make an appointment for a year from now. I tried to do that but the person at the reception desk said that was not possible because they can't schedule appointments out that far. That just seems silly. The doctor says to make an appointment, and the reception desk says that can't do that because the computer won't let them. Just a suggestion here...how about updating your software program so that is possible. The receptionist said they will send a post card reminding us to make an appointment after the first of the year, but by then the doctor will probably be booked and we may even have to wait more than a year for the next appointment. And what if I never get the reminder card? You are making your problem my problem. This system needs to be corrected...
Dr. Smadi and nurses etc are fabulous. I am so impressed with the care, patience and knowledge Doctor has. I'm really happy to come to this appointments.

Entire pulmonary dept is welcoming and helpful. Dr. Smadi is the absolute best!
I see MD for yearly f/u and renewal of medical device. Normally I am given next year appt. Today I was told to call in 6 m and make appt. Making appt at time of visit is convenient and easy. Make appt in 6 m on phone will be inconvenient and time consuming. Normally long time on hold to speak with any one who often not sure what kind of appt. Very poor use of time for your staff
Pleasant and professional
This is the only doctor I would see in the Aurora medical group. Our experience with Aurora otherwise has been very negative. I've seen Dr. Smadi for a long time and he understands me. But he's the only one I would agree to see. We are looking for a family doctor not in the Aurora medical group.
I believe I saw a medical assistant, not RN, if that's what you mean by nurse. So she wouldn't advise on medical issues.
