Dr. Yasmeen is really good and she makes sure she is covering all aspects of your concerns.
Nothing except you should be able to see your primary Dr more than once a yrs
Dr yasmeen is an excellent physician who cares about her patients. I am in good hands with Dr. Yasmeen.
All the nurses and staff were very pleasant to deal with
It was very helpful, because of this visit my husband was able to get some tests done that was needed.
Caring, professional and efficient.
This was one of the BEST Advocate experiences I've had. Have already told everyone friends and family about Dr Yasmeen and I had my results and interpretation and plan from Dr the next day by 9:30am!
I like my doctor a lot I don't care for advocate can't get through on the phones and it's just ridiculous and every time I have to go which is 3 or 4 times a year always have to show my insurance cards drivers license.. and I don't think the doctor has enough time cause they have a tight schedule a loted of time 15 mins
DR. Yasmeen has been one of my favorite care providers for several years. She is always willing to talk and answer questions. I do feel as if she really wants me to get better. I've been improving since she's been my doctor and look forward to working with her in the coming years. I'm grateful to have her and when I think of what a good doctor should be, She's at the top of my list. I give her 10 out of 10. The only negative thing is that Advocate needs more doctors in her office to keep up with the patients. I'm suppose to see her in three months but, she has so many patients that I can not get an appointment to see her for seven months. That's more than twice the time I'm suppose to wait to see her. How can you expect your patients to see improve when you can't see a doctor. Advocate brought me back from death's door and she gets a lot of credit for that. I as a caring human being, see how overworked she is just by looking into her eyes. There isn't enough doctors to go around and I'd hate to see you lose a doctor like her due to having too large of a case load. You just need one more doctor to split the load with her. I've had her for several years and she seems to do a great job. I think that you get the idea. If you need any more information, I'll be happy to help.
She talked down to me. I explained my goal was to reduce my A1c below 5.8 where ut currently is at, which is non diabetic levels of risk for cardiovascular complications. She tried to explain that whether I like it or not I'll always be diabetic. Yes, as I've had it 37 years I understand that, but I can reduce my risks by lowering my A1c. She wants me to get insulin 1 hour after eating: against the American Diabetes Associations recommended 30 minutes before a meal, and told me to do so is dangerous. She accused me of being suicidal be cause I've reduced my insulin intake by 45%, started a strict exercise regime, and turned my diet around, which i do not understand to be a character of a depressed person. Then she asked if I was ever diagnosed with OCD, before saying she refuses to treat me anymore. I think she cannot stand that I use cannabis for my sensory neuropathy vs traditional neuroprotectants, which often cause weight gain. She is very demeaning, talks down to me, would not explain her reasoning for wanting to change my regime. I'm open to improvement, but her advice would cause daily ketoacidosis and I cannot accept that. Since changing my diet and exercise I am having some low blood sugars, it would have been nice to discuss how to address those vs her telling me no matter what the situation, I must follow an exact regime, with no sliding scale for variability in my needs, exercise, stress levels, or other variables which conyribute to blood sugar levels. Truly unprofessional.
