Given this provider had ordered testing, that needed to be done before this visit, I felt he was NOT aware of the abnormal result. My assumption is those results were sent to him shortly after testing completed, and majority of my visit was spent in him reading those current and past results. He then ordered more testing....I was disappointed given I had waited probably 3 wks for this appointment only for him order additional testing. My feeling if he had reviewed results of previous studies, upon completion, he could have ordered the additional testing and this visit would have been more productive to develop a future plan. I get and am appreciative of provider needing to review all previous studies, my frustration is nothing really came from this sort of long awaited visit, Felt he could have ordered the additional testing prior to this visit. Am appreciative that sometimes insurance does dictate how things go, just frustrating to have to wait! I feel provider is knowledgeable and conscientious, just frustrated at this visit.
