First time with Dr. Kurtin very pleasurable experience.
Dr. Kurtin was very thoughtful asked questions about me, my level of activity , and he took time to listen to my concerns and things I have done and how I am no longer able to do things because I am bone on bone in my left hip.
This was my first visit with Dr. Kurtin. He was superb in his listening to my comments and his observations about my situation. I greatly respect his knowledge and evaluation. I trust his expertise.

While the doctor is very friendly, he was out of the exam room before I could ask questions regarding the reason for my visit. There was no "Nice meeting you" nor "Have a nice day" or more importantly..."Do you have any questions?" I DID have questions, only to have an aide show up with a list of PT sites. That should never happen...a professional needs to follow up to see if there is clarity going forward and if everything has been explained satisfactorily. In that regard, this doctor failed.
The doctor was kind and very understanding. Going over my x-ray and doing an examination he concluded my issue was not due to my hip but my spine. He then gave me information on how to proceed to finding a spine specialist. In my opinion he went over and above to help me.

This was my first experience with this doctor and his staff. I was very impressed with them all to make me feel comfortable.
Dr. left appt unexpectedly and PA said he was not going to do cortisone, which is what i went in for. I left with paper work for a referral, with little or no explanation. He may be very accurate with the referral and for that I thank him, I have always been satisfied with this doctor, but this appt was concerning.
