The only thing that bothered me about this pre-colonoscopy appointment was that I received a letter from advocate, saying that I did not need a pre-visit. I've had quite a few colonoscopies due to rectal cancer. I just want to understand what the need is for a pre-appointment. Advocate already has all of my health records and medications. So again I got a letter saying no need for previsit when I called to make the appointment they told me I had to have a pre-visit which I did. I would just like someone to explain to me the purpose of this pre-visit.
