I noticed some negative comments about Dr. Rula M. Al-Saghir. This is incomprehensible to me. She was attentive, competent, and entirely professional. I don't usually respond to automated surveys but in this case I need to say that I had a superior experience and would recommend her unqualifiedly.

Dr Al-Saghir has been my Pulmonologist for many years. I have always found her to be highly competent and professional. She has helped me manage serious, co-existing illnesses. Highly recommended.

This has nothing to do with this care provider but all care providers at Aurora regarding your messages portal on the LiveWell app. None and I mean none of the doctors monitor nor respond to messages in a timely manner if at all . Since it takes so long to get an appointment this is an important way to communicate with your doctor. In some cases the doctor themselves don't even make the response if they even know about it, they have there PA or a nurse respond days later if at all. Aurora needs to overhaul thier messaging process and make it easier for a patient to reach there provider using the message system. Also considering making a phone call to try and contact your doctor is an act of god and never happens as the receptionist seem to be trained to intercept and stop any chance of communicating with anyone but them when calling in, again forcing you to try and use the message app, again to no avail . And you need more doctors, or locations or both, when you make an appointment and there a year out that's just unconscionable and unacceptable for health care in the United States .I feel like if I need to see my doctor I'll need to go into a walk in clinic or the Er where the people don't know me or won't be able to help me, not to mention the cost will be unreasonable for something that used to be handled in the doctors office. I'm seriously considering my choice of selecting Aurora as my health care provider due to these issues. Which is unfortunate as my doctors are good but the process is dangerously flawed.
