Dr. Houlahan has been my primary doctor for many years and when he meets with me, he knows my history and medical concerns. He explains things in a way that a layman can understand.
No patient should be asked to arrive 15min early, get into a room to have to wait 25min with noone to tell u that the doctor is running super far behind. I left the room to ask to make sure I wasn't forgotten! Doctor came in and said "oh I was with a really sick patient", I told him yeah so am I!! This was my 3rd visit to try and get better as well. My time is valuable too & I needed to get back to work.

More thank half of my appointment he talked about the Covid vaccine and his opinion on it. I did not ask him about this . Not much time was spent examining me. In the after visit notes he put that my anxiety is well managed by Wellbutrin and he would call in and rx. But he didn't even aske me anything about anxiety. Also I got off of that more than 2 months ago . He's a nice guy and I'm sure a good doctor but just needs more focus on patient and less opinion unless asked

He was generally concerned about my health and the right actions to take to get it better. We reviewed my various issues and actions we could take together.
