I wish that when I was told, "if you fill a pad in an hour, go to the ER," that it was prefaced with something like, "all pregnancies have a risk of miscarriage." Without that, it almost felt like an inevitability. I also wish that the possibility of a blighted ovum was mentioned at the appointment. When I saw it on my chart I had to research it on my own. After looking at my test results, I still have a lot of questions. I have always had a great experience with Dr. Starr and assume that she is omitting things for a reason and possibly didn't want to cause unnecessary concern.
I used to dread calling Advocate's general phone line to schedule appointments with Dr. Starr because the call center was pretty awful. People were rude and snippy, bad attitudes all around every time I called. Not an exaggeration. But this time, the woman who made my appointment was super capable and had a good attitude. I love Dr. Starr - she's the best gyno I've ever seen - and I love her staff - everyone is professional and helpful. They are all wonderful. I'm glad Advocate's call center has caught up with the great services provided by Dr. Starr's office.
Dr. Starr is excellent. I quickly felt comfortable with her. She makes me feel that I am taken cared of and receiving the best level of expertise and service.
