She was very clear when speaking about colonoscopies and choices I could make

I was shocked to be told my colonoscopy is not done there.

The in person visit was not needed. This type of meeting before a colonoscopy can be scheduled is ridiculous and can be done via video call. I called to schedule a colonoscopy last year. Had to have this visit just to schedule. Now can't schedule procedure until June. 6 months just to schedule. We have to do better than this as a company, a caregiver, and as efficient medical practitioners. This is a Harvard Business School case study for how NOT to do it. It should be done much more efficiently. And it's not difficult to figure out. The pcp recommends the colonoscopy. The primary care physician or scheduler can cover the pre colonoscopy meeting prep. Then it can be scheduled. This takes 5 months out of the 6 month process. So easy. So efficient, but change only happens in the medical community when it's mandated. Be better.
