Had a good conversation with PA and the Dr.
He's a good doctor.
From the time I walked into the building to the time I left I felt very welcomed. All the staff who had taken care of me were wonderful. The nurse who went over my medical issues was very nice, she answered all my questions. The radiological technologist kept me comfortable throughout out my imaging wand was very friendly. Dr. Walker-Santiago was fantastic. He took as much time as needed to go over any questions I had regarding my medical issue. Not only did he go over my images, but he brought up information and pictures of what the hip and surrounding tissue and muscles look like. I appreciated his thoroughness in my examination as well. He is a very patient person and I love that he took the time needed for all my concer.
I felt that Dr saw me as a bother, taking up his time. Dr was in a rush; he was hard to understand, wearing a mask, and speaking fast. He made comments that sounded like bad news but did not clarify, such as "unstable" and "failed arthroplasty" but not explaining that doesn't mean the surgery was a failure. Dr was mostly talking to the Physical Therapy person who was with him that day.
Dr Santiago was very attentive to my concerns. He took time to explain and give me options for treatment. I trust him Completely.
