Dr Purvi Patel is one of a kind. She is a caring compassionate provider. In this day healthcare has become very impersonal. Dr Patel never makes me feel that way. She is genuine and listens to my concerns. She presents the treatment options and allows me to decide how to proceed. She is one in a million!! Thank you Dr Patel!!
The time spent with my care provider is always a good experience. It is the experience with check in that presented a problem that I found upsetting. I have been a member of Advocate in Orland for many years. It took me more than 20 minutes to be checked in. I later found out that I really wasn't checked in with insurance information verified. And after that I received an estimated bill because I was not in the system. I actually called my insurance provider while standing at check-in. Days later I checked and thank goodness for the person in billing who was able to properly put me back in the system:

Doctor Patel and her team is remarkably AH is Lucky to have her She made me feel at ease and safe dr. Patel provided wonderful education. She listened to my thoughts and concerns. She's just truly amazing. I'm really lucky that I get to have her a part of my treatment plan. On a side note I really wish I would've had my metrics before. I began the weight loss journey. The machine I recently went and utilized to gather information about my body index would be a great tool to have where folks like me could go to a site and do this independently no doctor would be needed, but the information would be then sent to our doctor. It would be a really great resource especially for those in the south land area where weight management is an issue definitely innovative. Dr Purvi Patel is a great doctor. She thorough, thoughtful, helpful and kind. She knows doctors in and out of network for referrals. Unfortunately, she is booked solid. If a situation arises, then we have to schedule with another doctor in the office. Those doctors are capable of doing their jobs. Me personally, would like to see my PCP. I know virtual visits are available, as well. I want her to have more availability. Also, I want her to take time off to reset and recharge. I know that she cares about her patients. But, she needs self care too!! She is a human too!!!
